River's End Restaurant & Inn

This was our first time staying in Jenner for us and we could not have been happier! We stayed in the Oceana house and it was wonderful and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit and the back patio. The views of the river, mouth of the ocean and goat rock were fantastic! We had lunch and dinners at the restaurant and were very pleased with all of the staff and the food! Great cocktails too! We will be back!

The River's End Restaurant is one of the top places in the Bodega Bay/Jenner area for fine dining in a casual setting. The views are gorgeous and the food was very good. Especially try anything fresh caught on the menu. My halibut on black rice with a lemongrass broth was wonderful and so was the fresh fettuccini with prawns and mushrooms. Service was very attentive but not obtrusive. This is definitely a place to consider if you are staying in the area.

The River's End is a peaceful oasis away from the everyday hustle. It was so nice to get away and disconnect in a tranquil environment. The views of the Russian River and Pacific Ocean from the cabin were stunning. The room was clean and inviting. The restaurant is top-notch. There is a true kitchen "brigade" that leaves nothing to chance in providing an exceptional meal, and the service was second to none. We highly recommend River's End and plan to disconnect there again soon.

We are in love with River’s End! I have eaten here a handful of times and the food is just absolutely delicious and everything so fresh! We stayed in the Perch cabin for 2 nights, (first time stay) for our anniversary. It was absolutely perfect- quiet, beautiful, scenic from our deck. The people here are the friendliest and most professional and fun waiter Rick who really knows his wine and great recommendations for everything all around. One of the staff members ( Cindy? ) even called to check on what places were open for breakfast on our stay. We would definitely love to come stay again- the food is fabulous , but the staff are exceptional. We felt so welcome and comfortable here. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you SO much!

Review of the restaurant only: Delicious, well prepared dinner. Attentive and friendly server. The river-meets-ocean view is beautiful. The food, servers and view are worth the price. On this I can recommend the restaurant. Unfortunately, there are some service standards that are in conflict with the positive points of this establishment and what it advertises itself to be. The restaurant interior is worn and dated. It also smelled a little bit funny. The bartender is too loud, dropping things and talking about sports scores. Lastly, as my wife, other diners and I were properly dressed, the restaurant allowed two persons as walk-ins to dine - one dressed in full bicycle gear, the other in a tank top with visible arm pits. Since they were so casually dressed it's no surprise that tank top/ armpit was talking at a volume more common at a pizza parlor bar. It isn't uncommon for many restaurants to have some basic dress standards - "no tank tops, shorts, sandals", etc... If this restaurant aims to serve filet mignon, duck breast, charge $40 corkage fees, and advertise itself as meeting a certain standard, then it should respect their guests by providing an atmosphere that lives up to their own mark.

Have been to the restaurant several times over the years, and glad to find on our recent visit the quality remains top notch. Simple but highly enjoyable dishes with unique flavors. Somewhat pricey, but worth it. Rare to find great food with a great view. Staff is impeccably professional and friendly. Only downer is that the coffee is consistently terrible. Keep meaning to see how they ruin good coffee, as Goat Rock coffee is pretty decent, but always bitter and nasty tasting here.
